Buyer FAQ

Every culture has art worth framing — here's everything you need to know before, during, and after an order.

How does ordering work?

Browse art by culture or country, open a piece you love, and choose a print size and frame in the configurator. Add your shipping address at checkout and pay by card. Your order then moves into production, gets shipped with a tracking number, and arrives at your door.

What am I paying for? (pricing breakdown)

Every order is made up of four parts:

  • Production cost — the print itself (A4 $14, A3 $21, A2 $32) plus a frame if you choose one (classic black or gallery white +$48, natural oak +$56; print only is $0).
  • The artist's markup — set by the artist themselves, on top of production cost. They keep 95% of it.
  • Shipping — a flat $12 worldwide, no matter the size or your destination.
  • Service fee — 5% of the order (minimum $2), shown as its own line at checkout. It covers secure card processing and keeps the artist's 95% intact.

Checkout shows the full breakdown — including the artist's share — before you pay anything.

How does shipping work?

We ship worldwide for a flat $12, regardless of size or destination. Every print is made to order through a professional print-on-demand partner, so production and transit take a little time. Once your order ships, a tracking number appears on your order page so you can follow it the whole way.

What do the order statuses mean?
  • Awaiting payment — the order was created but payment hasn't been completed yet.
  • Paid — payment succeeded and the order is queued to start production.
  • In production — your print is being printed and framed.
  • Shipped — it's on its way; a tracking number is on your order page.
  • Delivered — it has arrived.
  • Cancelled — the order was cancelled and won't be produced.

You can check the current status any time from My orders.

Is payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide. EveryCulture never sees or stores your full card number.

What if my print arrives damaged, or I want to return it?

If your print or frame arrives damaged or defective, we'll replace it free of charge — just email hello@everyculture.art with a photo within 30 days of delivery.

Because every print is made to order specifically for you, we're not able to accept returns for a change of mind. Take a moment to double-check your size and frame choice before checking out.

How does the artist get paid from my order?

The artist sets a markup on top of production cost, and keeps 95% of that markup on every sale — EveryCulture keeps the remaining 5%. Production cost and shipping cover printing, framing, and delivery; the markup is what supports the artist directly.

Do I need to verify my email to buy something?

Yes. You'll need a verified email address before you can complete a purchase. If you haven't verified yet, check your inbox (and spam folder) for the verification link we sent when you signed up.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

Head to /forgot-password and enter the email on your account. We'll send you a link to set a new password.

How do I contact support?

Email us any time at hello@everyculture.art. For order issues, include your order number from My orders so we can help faster.
