Privacy Policy

Effective July 13, 2026

The short version: we collect only what we need to sell and ship art, we share it only with the services that make that happen, and we never sell your data or run ad trackers. Details below.

1. What we collect

  • Account: your name, email address, a hashed password (we cannot read it), and — for artists — your home country.
  • Orders: what you bought and the shipping name and address you enter at checkout.
  • Artwork: the image files artists upload, with their titles and descriptions.
  • Messages: anything you send through the contact form.

We do not collect your card number (Stripe handles payment on their own systems), and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you logged in.

2. Who processes it, and why

Your data is shared only with the services that run the Site, each receiving only what its job requires:

  • Stripe — payment processing, and payout accounts for artists.
  • Prodigi — our print partner; receives the shipping name/address and the artwork file for each order, to print and deliver it.
  • Resend — sends our transactional email (verification, order updates).
  • Vercel and Neon — host the Site, its database, and uploaded images.

We never sell or rent personal data to anyone.

3. How long we keep it

Account data lasts as long as your account does. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and legal obligations. Artwork files are removed from public view when an artist takes them down, and deleted on request (except as needed to fulfill orders already placed).

4. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data. Email hello@everyculture.art or use the contact form and we will act on it promptly. If you are in the EU/UK, these are your GDPR rights and you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

5. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and email account holders about significant changes.
