Terms of Service
Effective July 13, 2026
Welcome to EveryCulture.art (“we”, “us”, the “Site”). These terms are a real agreement between you and us, but we have written them to be read, not skimmed past. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.
1. What EveryCulture.art is
EveryCulture.art is a marketplace where artists upload culturally rooted artwork and buyers order it as museum-quality prints, framed or unframed, shipped worldwide. We operate the platform, collect payment, arrange printing and shipping through a professional print partner, and pass 95% of the artist’s markup to the artist. We are not the author of the artwork sold here.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure — activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 18 to sell, and at least 16 to use the Site at all. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, upload infringing or prohibited content, or abuse the platform, and we will tell you why when we do.
3. Buying
Prices are shown in US dollars and include the print, the frame you choose (if any), plus shipping and a 5% service fee (minimum $2) shown before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Every order is printed on demand — made for you after you order it. Because of that:
- Before your order ships, you can cancel for a full refund from your order page or by contacting us.
- After it ships, made-to-order items are not returnable for change of mind — but if your print arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, contact us within 30 days with a photo and we will reprint or refund it in full.
Estimated production and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees; customs charges for international orders, where they apply, are the buyer’s responsibility.
4. Selling
Artists set a markup on top of production cost. When your work sells, you earn 95% of that markup; we keep 5%. Earnings are paid out via Stripe once the order ships (which keeps pre-ship refunds simple and whole). You are responsible for taxes on your earnings in your own jurisdiction.
Uploaded work goes through a human review before it appears publicly. We may decline work that violates section 6, is below print resolution, or is outside what the Site is for.
5. Your art stays yours
Artists keep full copyright and ownership of everything they upload. By uploading, you grant us only the license we need to run the Site: to display your work (as a watermarked preview), to promote it on and off the Site, and to transmit the full-resolution file to our print partner solely to produce orders of it. This license ends for a work when you remove it, except for orders already placed.
6. Content rules
You may only upload work if all of the following are true:
- You created it or hold the rights to sell prints of it.
- It does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, or publicity rights.
- It is not hateful toward any group, does not sexualize minors, and is not otherwise unlawful.
If you believe work on the Site infringes your rights, email hello@everyculture.art with the work’s URL and proof of ownership; we investigate every claim and remove infringing work.
7. Our liability
We run the Site with care, but it is provided “as is” — we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and does not let us take away.
8. Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, email account holders. Questions? Write to hello@everyculture.art or use the contact form.
